One Year Later
Despite all the tragedy and upheavals of the past year, Bonus stayed true to his roots and completed his AKC Junior Earthdog Title at the Greater Boston Earthdog Club Test in Gardner MA on August 13, 2006 (judge Joe Mazur)
Bonus earned a "bonus" leg under Lou Herzog but was not around to collect his prize! In Dora's words "I left Gardner on Sunday before the awards were hanaded out so Carol
Soeldner accepted the
award and chose the toy for him. The judge said that if a human chose
the toy it had to be
with their mouth so here is the photo of the event.

Maritime Moments
From Dora
Bonus earned his first 2 CKC points by going Best of Breed at the July
30th Fredericton Kennel Club
show under Judge David McIntyre. His win over two lovely bitch specials
was due in large part to
having an experienced handler (Pam) showing him that day. Thanks Pam!
His Mom (Dora) unfortunately
missed witnessing the moment. At that particular instant I was sitting
in a chair horizontal to the ground
having been toppeled over by Ziggy the Australian Shepherd leaping up to
greet a passerby!
Bonus then finished off the day by passing Intro to Quarry under Joanne
Frier-Murza. A memorable weekend..
