On his way...again

May 12th 2019, at the Earthdog Association of Ontario CKC Earthdog tests, Rupert earned his first CKC Master earthdog leg under judge Ann Joondeph

September 22 - 23rd, 2018, at Motor Cities Fox Terrier Club Earthdog Trials, Rupert earned 3 Master Earthdog legs.
The judges were: Jean Callans, Krista Williams, and Ann Joondeph.

Senior Moments - lots of them

May 13, 2018 - Plattsville, ON - at the Earth Dog Association of Ontario ED Tests and Rupert completed his CKC Senior Earthdog Title under judges Judy Todd and Richard Reynolds

May 26, 2018 - at the Great Lakes All Terriers Association ED Tests, Rupert was outstanding, earning his 3rd leg, for his AKC Senior Earthdog Title under judge Krista Williams.

With the exception of one or two points when handled by Elaine Brown, all Ruperts AKC Championship points were earned with Pippa handling making it even more special.
He went into the Novi Winter Classic shows needing a 3 point major to finish.
On Thursday, January 18th, 2018 at the Livonia KC show under judge Mr. Trotter he was awarded Best of Winners, a 3 point major

Revisiting Obedience

November 12, 2017 - Belgian Sheepdog Club Of Oakland County, Warren, MI

Rupert earned two UKC Novice legs with scores of 193 1/2 and 194.
Judges were Bonnie Hornfisher and Russell Hornfisher.

October 22, 2017 - Earthdog Association of Ontario, Plattsville, ON

Rupert earned completed his CKC JE and the first leg towards his CKC SE title under judge Richard Mair

August 26, 2017 - Motor Cities Fox Terrier Club Trial, Metamora, MI - Judge: Krista Williams

Rupert earned his first AKC Senior Leg
7 seconds to the rat. Worked the rat and bars like a daemon. 3 seconds recall.

March 03, 05, 2017 - Sportsmen's Dog Training Club of Detroit, Lapeer, MI - Judge Lavonda L Herring

Rupert had a great 2 days!
Double Q with 2 firsts on Friday.
Double Q with 2 firsts on Sunday.
In spite of having to jump 16", he did it; and earned his NA title.

February 24th, 2017 Sportsmen's DTC trial - Judge Sharon Redmer

Rupert qualified, with a score of 87 in Rally Excellent (Would have been 97 but for handler error) that completes his AKC RE title

Double ACT In one afternoon

AKC Agility Course Test sponsored by Canine Community Center on January 16, 2017

Rupert qualified in all 4 events. One 1st, two 2nds, and a third place.
Thus he now has ACT 1 and ACT 2 titles.

Feeling Good in CPE Agility

JB'S wild Card Agility, in Lapeer MI - December 09, 2016

Judge: Jerry McKenzie (who Has a great reputation for being kind to beginner dogs, and their handers.) Rupert took 1st place in the crowded 12 inch division in Standard, Wildcard and Snooker.

Border Terrier Club of America 2016 National Specialty success

Roberts Event Center, Wilmington, OH - June 13th-17th, 2016

Rupert's BTCA National Specialty debut was a very nice one. On Wednesday, he and his partner Tumnus finished first in Brace Obedience putting on a truly memorable performance for judge Catherine Thompson scoring a stunning 192.5 (out of 200). Together with three of his "Faireview relatives", he finished fourth in Team Obedience.
On Thursday he took a respectable 4th place in Open Dog under judge Patrick Glover.

Barn Hunt - taking it to the next level

Saturday, May 7th, 2016 at the "Zodiak Ranch" in Milford MI under judge Kristina Phillips

Rupert completed his Open Barn Hunt title with a first and second place.

Back on Form - Birch Run - April 07-08, 2016

Rupert completed his AKC Beginner Novice title with a score of 197-1/2 and first place under judge Del Lunn.
On Sunday, he got his first leg in Rally Advanced, also under Del Lunn. Score 90.

Rupert further demonstrated his recuperative powers by earning the first leg towards his Open Barn Hunt titles.

December 11-19, 2015 - Barn Hunt

You can't keep a good dog down.

Thanks to wonderful nursing from Pippa, Rupert is making a good recovery from a truly nasty bout of kennel cough complicated by pneumonia.
Just to prove that he is getting back to par, he completed his RATN title in fine style

October 17-18, 2015 - Wixom MI - Barn Hunt

Saturday - Rupert earned his RATI and first RATN leg under judge Cindy Anguillo

Sunday - Rupert earned his second RATN leg with a second place under judge Sharon Jonas

September 25-27, 2015 - Terrier Club of Michigan and Monroe Kennel Club - Lure Coursing

Rupert earned his CAT CA Title in fine style

September 13-13, 2015 - UKC Agility

Despite an entertaining performance involving several "zoomies", Rupert completed his UKC AG1 title with 3 Q's. racking up two 2nds and a 3rd.

August 2015 was a good month for Rupert!
In addition to acing his Canine Good Citizen test on August 17th, he also lived up to his heritage by earning his AKC Junior Earthdog Title on August 22nd at the Motor Cities Fox Terrier Club, earthdog trials under judges Ann Joondeph and Judge J. Callens.

He's been a busy boy

June 20th, 2015
At the DKC trials, Rupert gained his third leg for his American RN. 4th place with a score of 88 under judge Patricia Strong. He also added an extra leg with an 88 and 2nd place.

July 4th and 5th, 2015
In 2 trials, at the AAKC show, in Monroe, Rupert earned 3rd and 2nd place in Beginner Novice with scores of 189 1/2 and 192 1/2.

Great Canadian Debut...

Rupert's first Canadian outing was to the Eries Shores Kennel Clun shows in Calednia ON. June 05-07, 2015

He came home with his CKC Rally Novice title plus an extra leg (Rally leg that is) and some nice scores
Friday 6/5/15 Mr. E. Leslie 98 2nd place
Friday 6/5/15 Ms. L Marshall 95 1st place
Saturday 6/6/15 Mr Del Lunn 87 2nd place
Sunday 6/7/15 Ms. C. Bishop 97 2nd place

He also earned his first two points towards his CKC Championship going Winners Dog under judge Rhonda Davis

At just 8 months old....

On May 01, 2015 Rupert competed in 2 Rally Novice /trials held by Tri Cities DTC of Saginaw Bay
In trial 1, he received a score of 100, placing in 2nd place, to a golden who was 23 secs faster.
In trial 2, he received a score of 98, placing 3rd.
Judge for both trials was Delvyn R. Lunn
