Not So Rusty CG AM.CAN.JE (Canadian Border Terrier Welfare foster dog)

(foster mom - Pam)

Sadly, after 5-1/2 wonderful years with Anne and Kent Gilbert, Rusty left for the Rainbow Bridge at the end of June 2016.

A game little fellow

Rusty earned his AWTA Certificate of Gameness at the North American Teckel Club Trial on May 30th, 2011 under esteemed working judge Teddy Moritz.

Way to finish

Rusty turned in a consistent performance to finish his AKC Junior Earthdog Title under JoAnn Frier-Murza at the Greater Boston Area Earthdog Club Tests on August 14-15, 2010
He earned an extra leg under Sharon Yon on the Sunday just for good measure

Oh so close

Rusty had a great time at the Finger Lakes Kennel Club Earthdog Tests on July 24-25, 2010
He only managed to sqeak in one leg towards his AKC JE under judge Jean Callens but came oh so close under judges Karen Zeman (broke work at 45 seconds) and Judy Todd (took 37 seconds to reach quarry)

This brag benefits ..... Rusty of course!!!

Worth the long ride

Rusty accompanied me on my trip to Judge at the Atlantic Terrier Association ED Tests in St Croix, NS on July 10-11, 2010. He could only run the day I was not judging Junior but made it count finishing his CKC JE yitle under Anna Robaczewski.

Anna's words when she presented his ribbon were incredibly touching and an encouragement to anyone dealing with a dog with issues

You've come a long way Rusty!!!

While Rusty still has his issues he has come a long way and earthdog has given him an outlet to express his natural instincts and a pressure valve for his high drive.
Our patience and persistence was well rewarded at the Border Terrier Club of Ontario Earthdog Test in Jerserville, ON on June 25, 2010 when he earned the first leg towards his CKC Junior Earthdog title under judge Carly Martin

This brag benefits ..... Rusty of course!!!
