Making a Fresh Start

And adding a new title across the pond .........
Tristan passed The Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme - Bronze level - on August 15, 2004. This is similar to the AKC Canine Good Citizen test except that it has multiple levels and includes exercises such as going through a gate or doorway, a one minute stay and an off leash recall from a play situation. The handler is also expected to correctly answer some basic questions relating to dog ownership.

Tristan earned the first leg towards his AKC Senior Earthdog Title at the Finger Lakes Trial on July 19th, 2003 (left)

Just in time!

Tristan earned the final leg for his Senior Earthdog Title at the NJBEC AKC Trial in NJ on November 01, 2004. This was his last possible trial before heading back across the Pond with "Mom", Iseabail & Geordie.
On November 02, 2004 he added to his "loot" by earning his AWTA Certificate of Gameness. Way to Go Tristan - we'll miss you!
